Friends, my hiatus from the site is not permanent. While BJ is in Uganda working for Witness.org, we have translated most of the footage and hope to put it together by summer's end. Meanwhile, it's been about putting together promotional material and searching for funding. I am also working on a new website with video uplinks. Do check back here eventually (a month or so?) for updates, but patience is the watchword.
Congo's fortunes are neither up or down, and a dire situation continues unabated. Some reporters do their jobs well-- I liked
this article recently in the Boston Globe-- but as you may read, hope really is only a glimmer.
